Ohio is home to more than 80 Building Trades training facilities where registered apprentices earn competitive pay and benefits while training with skilled journeymen to learn their craft. Working on actual construction sites during the day, Building Trades apprentices are building their futures as they help build their communities.

The East Central Ohio region encompasses the six counties of Carroll, Coshocton, Holmes, Stark, Tuscarawas and Wayne, where we are fortunate to have efficient and experienced contractors and subcontractors, as well as an extensively trained and highly-skilled construction work force. Multiple key trade unions, encompassing every facet of the construction industry, have their principal offices in East Central Ohio. These labor organizations sponsor and operate apprenticeship training programs endorsed by the U.S. Department of Labor, ensuring the ongoing availability of highly skilled construction workers. In recent years, developers in the natural gas industries have relied on local contractors and subcontractors to remain cost-efficient while meeting their construction needs and requirements.
